Coffee Underground is quite a unique coffee shop in Columbus, Ohio. Operating from a large, Art Deco-inspired space in the lower level of a building, Coffee Underground is committed to providing finely crafted coffee and a chill atmosphere. A new logo was needed for the shop to gain more positive recognition in the community.

The inspiration for the logo was drawn from the London Underground system and Art Deco styling. The framing and font lend to the Art Deco aesthetic of the Coffee Underground environment. The thicker ring represents a coffee grinder while the coffee beans and arrow direct and remind the viewer that the shop is located in the lower level of the building, underground.

Also included is a secondary, wordmark logo version for varied use where space is either limited or the tagline is desired.
