Hey, i’m Casey.
Now that you’ve made it this far, you know that I’m a graphic designer but there’s more to my story.
I am a fiancé, soon to be married to my best friend, Megan. I am a dog dad to the goofiest boy, Maximo. I am a friend. I am a son to loving parents and a brother to a kind sister. I am a proud uncle of two ridiculously adorable little girls. Music holds a special place in my heart—whether it’s listening, playing, or singing. I have an affinity for guitars (acoustic, mostly). I am a worship leader. I love to travel and experience different cultures (and take lots of photos on my trips). I am always down to find a good spot to eat. At home you’d probably catch me watching a good show, movie, or football game. Above all, I am a follower of Christ and a child of God.
While I am many things, I believe that you are here to learn more about the creative skills and background that God has blessed me with. I always enjoyed art and design growing up, but it wasn’t until my senior year of high school that I realized I wanted to be a graphic designer. I then found myself at college where I continued to be enamored by the creative landscape that my eyes had been opened to. I spent a year as the Student Design Intern in the Marketing Department at Mount Vernon Nazarene and that solidified my call and my passion to make Graphic Design my career.
My time at MVNU helped prepare me for the career that I’ve had as a Graphic Designer. I have developed a strong background in print and digital marketing, brand identity, information design, photography, and video editing. I love being a creative problem-solver and figuring out the "puzzle" in each project—making all pieces work together. I pride myself on being a team player, a fast learner, and someone who understands the art of kindness.
I enjoyed my time at both McGraw Hill (Education) and MedVet, but I am ready for the next adventure. I am hoping to find a place to grow my roots, contribute my knowledge, expertise, and positive attitude, and learn a lot along the way.
I also enjoy freelance work. If you are in need of some creative solutions, drop me a line and let’s chat.
